Premise Data is looking for a Survey Methodologist in San Francisco CA. You will be part of the Research & Data Insights team, which provides innovative and methodologically rigorous research expertise across the company and to a global network of on-the-ground contributors.

What you get to do:

  • Audit our current survey structures, methodologies, and features

  • Document changes we should make, what we're doing right/wrong

  • Document future best practices

  • Document future product needs

  • Assist with building and maintaining tableau dashboard reporting

  • Assist with creating and analyzing global tracking and ad hoc surveys

  • Help with number checking and fact-checking

  • Contribute to building data-driven stories

  • Create infographics, presentations, and charts

Your background likely includes:

  • BA/BS

  • 1-3 years in market research

  • Worked to study the measurement of media audiences, user experience, political and other opinion research, market and product research, and/or customer satisfaction.

  • Understand end-to-end survey design

  • Broad knowledge from academic disciplines such as statistics, the social sciences, and data science.

  • Knowledge of R, SPSS, and/or Stata a plus

  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs and creating tables and charts in each of those programs

  • Great attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines

  • Interest in survey research

  • Some experience querying and writing scripts for MS SQL Server database

Role As the Customer Experience Operations Manager within the Corporate Strategy organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-impact customer listening programs that help us improve our end-to-end customer experience. You will serve as the resident expert of our experience management platform. In this capacity, you will help design and project manage the organization's customer listening roadmap, implement new survey programs for teams across the business, and play an integral role in our newly established Survey Center of Excellence. You have the unique combination of technical, relational, and strategic experience to successfully execute our customer listening strategy. And you'll come with a strong understanding of customer experience best practices, survey design expertise, and survey operations experience. Responsibilities Thought Partnership and Technical Advising ● Assess long-term customer listening program strategy and identify solutions that drive measurable success ● Demonstrate unparalleled product expertise and problem-solving acumen to recommend software solutions tailored to our survey program needs ● Develop a deep understanding of each of our global survey program goals and objectives to advise on relevant technical solutions ● Build systems to facilitate program objectives and system effectiveness and measure reliability of services ● Measure and monitor system effectiveness and reliability of services ● Execute regular maintenance activities (e.g., handle outages, assist with root cause analysis, troubleshoot technical questions and issues) ● Train internal teams on new and relevant features of the survey platform and related solutions Technology Services and Configuration ● Seamlessly integrate new product features into existing programs ● Design and document functional and technical requirements and help scope projects by understanding timelines and associated levels of effort ● Execute build and configuration services that align to client objectives and strategic goals Program Management ● Actively develop, manage and communicate the listening post roadmap ● Manage the launch of new survey projects, ensuring they are completed on time and on scope Required Skills / Experience * 5 years experience working in a technical, consulting, or client-facing role * Experience managing global customer listening posts, such as NPS programs, transactional survey programs, or event-based surveys. * Experience managing Qualtrics, Medallia, Gainsight or similar enterprise level survey tool * Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience * An ability to grasp program needs and recommend value-added solutions * Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines * Familiarity with software and front-end development * Strong critical thinking, influencing, and relationship management skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of a variety of survey design and research methods * Demonstrated passion for Customer Experience and acting as an advocate for customers Servicenow San Francisco CA
