We are currently seeking to add a Survey Field Technician I to the Survey team.

The typical pay range for this position is $23 to $31.25/hr and is commensurate with experience relative to this position. This is full-time with benefits position.

Our team of surveyors offer a variety of surveying and mapping services so that there's no misunderstanding about the land you are working on. We use cutting-edge technology to offer thorough land surveys. We use 3D imaging, drones, and GPS technology to create the most accurate picture of the land and satisfy all parties involved, from lenders to builders to property owners.

In addition, we provide accurate data for easements and right-of-way disputes on any property. Our workstations are equipped with AutoCAD Civil 3D and point cloud processing to ensure that we can provide the most accurate information possible.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically knowledgeable with strong communication skills, and a can-do attitude.

What you'll be doing:

Working with the Party Chief/Crew Leader to accurately and efficiently perform survey duties as required to meet project needs

Work with others to complete daily survey tasks within rural and/or urban environments

Perform various survey functions while working on construction sites

Availability to work out of town for extended periods

Availability to work with teams in other offices

Setting up and operating surveying instruments

Regular Vehicle and equipment maintenance

Clear and concise note taking as directed by Party Chief

Understand and meet safety requirements per PACE policies

What we are looking for:

Requirements:

High School diploma a minimum requirement; any college degree a plus

Ability to lift and carry 30 to 40 pounds

Be willing to work in inclement weather conditions and varied terrain

Washington State driver's license required

Desires Skills/Experience:

Skills can be taught -we're looking for someone willing to learn and implement what they've learned in the field and on the job

Have the ability and personality to work with others in a team environment as well as be able to do things solo when the project requires it

Should be a self-motivated individual who works efficiently in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision
