Survey Field Technician

The Survey Field Technician will operate equipment that is used for underwater acoustic projects, high-definition laser scanning surveys, dimensional control surveys, and aerial drone surveys. The Survey Field Technician will be a champion and leader of our company's core values while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction. Some responsibilities include:

Leading a crew for hydrographic and laser scanning projects Loading project-required equipment into automobile and/or boat prior to traveling to the job site Operating robotic total stations, associated navigation, positioning and heading-motion reference unit systems Scanning field capture and processing scan data as outlined per the project scope Completing assigned tasks in a timely fashion and being diligent in field procedures Am I qualified for this position? High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's degree in an Engineering or Survey related field is preferred Minimum three (3) years of related experience in land surveying and/or hydrographic surveying Proficient understanding of geometry and trigonometry Ability to travel; may require frequent travel and some overnight stays to customer sites Why work for Fenstermaker?
