Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

Description:

The Survey CAD Technician will be someone who can work independently with little supervision. They will be responsible for producing construction staking points, preparing field-to-finish CAD drawings, and having the ability to complete Topographic, Alta, and Boundary Surveys. As well as As-built surveys, Boundary Reconfiguration, legal descriptions, construction staking, and be able to research plats and boundaries.

Schedule:

Monday

• Friday 7:30am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with Trimble/carlson survey data collectors.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

• Work independently with little supervision and complete projects on time

• Detailed oriented

• Ability to reduce field notes and prepare office surveys.

• Ability to perform basic mathematic and trigonometric calculations.

• Prepare plats, drawings, as-built, tree, and topographic surveys and exhibits using AutoCAD/ Civil 3D

• Perform routine analysis to check the accuracy and reasonableness of data.

• Must be able to communicate clearly with field crews and engineers and project managers.

Must Have:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Formal training in a surveying-related field is a plus and is desired.

• Must have 2-3 years of experience in surveying technology as a drafter/CAD technician

• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil3D.

• Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.

• Ability to work in a timely and accurate manner.
