Surveillance Technician II - Park MGM

THE JOB:

As a Surveillance Technician II, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of our hotel's surveillance systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.

The Starting Pay: $37.00 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Install, configure, repair, and maintain Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, digital Network Video Recorders (NVR) systems, Pro-Watch access control systems, all Surveillance cameras (IP), and digital CCTV components.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of surveillance systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor live and recorded video feeds to detect any unusual or suspicious activities.

• Maintain detailed logs and reports of surveillance activities, incidents, and equipment maintenance.

• Install and maintain Fiber Optics systems.

• Complete administrative tasks using various technology and software such as detailed logs and reports of surveillance activities, incidents, and equipment maintenance.

• Upgrade computer/NVR software and hardware.

• Drive/Operate company vehicles to complete Surveillance work on and off property (Scissor lift, Boom lift).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 2 years of experience working with Digital Network Video Recorder (DNVR) Enterprise Systems.

• Prior experience working with access control systems.

• Prior experience working with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.

• Able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+ and/or Network+ preferred.

• Familiar with Windows 10 &11 operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications (Windows server 2019, Linux, Apple OS, Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• Ability to obtain a NV Gaming Registration.

• Takes pride in their work.
