This individual is responsible for helping develop and implement systems to assure the smooth and efficient flow of patients for procedures in the OR, labs # physician practice.

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, patient teaching, assisting with patient care within scope of practice, inventory management,#schedule coordination, setting up sterile tray, positioning and prepping patient, assist with handling of instruments, operating and monitoring equipment Greets patients, prepares patient care area # equipment for use. Assists with hospital # office procedures, assists with scheduling appointments for special procedures, tests, surgery. This position requires the individual to be flexible in their work schedule.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology#program or military equivalent.# Certification preferred.# If you graduated after#1/1/08 you must be certified.# All candidates that graduated prior to 1/1/08 will be eligible for consideration.#Annually must#complete 15 hours of continuing education.# Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience preferred
