Surgical Technologist - PT

We are seeking to fill a part time Surgical Technologist position. This is an exciting and challenging position with a surgery center that continues to grow. We seek to fill this role with an individual who can work in-person Monday

• Friday for the first two weeks of every month 6:30 a.m.

• 3 p.m.

General Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sets up, stocks, and maintains supplies for the Operating Room.

• Cleans and cares for all equipment according to OSHA guidelines. Assists with sterilization of instruments.

• Assists as scrub technician in the OR. Knowledgeable of proper aseptic technique and set up/use of equipment.

• Assists surgeon & anesthesiologist with sterile surgical procedures.

• Maintains and/or reports repair needs of surgical suite equipment; monitors surgical inventory, which may include ordering supplies.

• Assists with patient care (i.e. moving patient throughout Pre-op/Procedure room/Recovery area).

• Assists RN with Embryo Transfers.

• Maintain (clean/organize) Procedure Room.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

• Two (2) years of operating room experience required.

• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
