Job Summary:

Assists the surgeon, the registered nurse, and the anesthesiologist in the care of patients in the Operating Room and/or Birthing Room. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Clinical rotations provided by surgical technologist program is required. Formal externship or one year experience is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program is required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
