Job Title: Surgical Technologist Department Pool Position Description: The Surgical Technologist Department Pool is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of an RN according to accepted clinical standards of care.

Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program 1 year Surgical Technician experience CST (Surgical Tech) certification preferred Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Specific Skills: Must have knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up as well as laser equipment use and maintenance.
