Job Summary

Implements plan of care for specific patient population. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the peri-operative environment.

May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training program.

Virginia Surgical Techs are required to be Licensed with the VBOM.

Qualifications:

TS - Trade School Graduate: Surgical Technologist (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Other/National, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

• Other/National, Licensed Surgical Technologist

• North Carolina, Licensed Surgical Technologist

• Other/National, Licensed Surgical Technologist
