Incorporate patient safety, interdisciplinary communication, patient satisfaction, and resource utilization to support unit workflow and ensure the highest level of patient care. Major responsibilities of the role include:
2.) Ensuring availability and approval of instrumentation, supplies, and implants for all cases.
5.) Acting as an active member of the Value Analysis Team committee meetings.
7.) Attending quality meetings to address pertinent issues.
10.) Precepting new team members, on-boarding new vendors, arranging staff in-service education.
14.) Troubleshooting issues with case booking related to clinical equipment/ supply or implant needs.
16.) Ensuring accurate procedure mnemonics.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Diploma or certificate of completion from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent.
BLS certification required
Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in an operating room setting.
National certification in appropriate related specialty preferred.
