Surgical Technician

Position Summary: The Hunterdon Center for Surgery, affiliated with Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ is seeking a Surgical Technician to join our team.# The Surgical Tech assumes responsibility for providing patient care in accordance with established AORN standards and guidelines.# # Responsibilities: Utilizes technical skills as a first line direct patient care provider and is integral member of the intraoperative surgical team.# Ensures compliance with all HCS policies and procedures.# Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each surgeon#s specific needs and provides as needed.

Requirements:

Education # High School Diploma Required. Graduate of an accredited OR Technician program preferred, with at least two (2) years O.R. experience.# Must be highly motivated with leadership and strong surgical skills.# Good communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills required.# Shows initiative and possesses good problem solving skills.# Ability to use all surgical equipment (i.e., laser, bovie, video, etc.)
