Our OR team is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team. This employee will be responsible for the following but not limited to: prepare surgical suite room, equipment and appropriate instruments for surgical cases. This employee will assist surgeons and nursing staff with surgical procedures, in accordance with department and hospital procedures.

• Check the sterility of equipment and make sure that there are adequate supplies for surgery

• Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies

• Count supplies, such as surgical instruments, to ensure that no foreign objects are retained in patients

• Maintain a sterile environment to prevent patient infection

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate from an accredited program for Surgical Technicians; Certification as a Surgical Technician; Previous experience as a Certified Surgical Technician is desired.
