Core Duties:


Monitors and records physiological measurements.
Performs portions of medical treatment, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures such as ear cleanings.
Cares for, observes, and reports on postoperative patients and seriously or critically ill and injured patients.
Records treatments and procedures rendered and observes effects.
Prepares and administers medications under nurse or physician supervision.
Adheres to infection control procedures including use of personal protective equipment, disposal of waste, and aseptic technique.
Assists providers with application/removal of splints, sutures, staples, and dressings as instructed.
Assists providers with minor clinical procedures to include, but not limited to myringotomy & pressure equalization tube placement, punch and other diagnostic biopsies, and fine needle aspiration
Accompanies surgeon to the operating room to circulate, scrub and/or assist in surgical procedures including, but not limited to, general head & neck, middle ear, laryngeal, soft palate & throat, nose, and any other procedures as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of the following:

Graduate from Surgical Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or completion of a formal training program provided by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists, or operating room technicians.
Experience: Candidates must have the following experience:

Minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years assisting with ears, nose, and throat surgical procedures in an operating room or clinical setting.
Security:

National Background Investigation
Must be a US Citizen
Must have reliable transportation to and from work site
License/Certification and Training:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American heart Association
Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NCCT) or possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) certification as a surgical technician and/or operating room technician.
Schedule:

Monday to Friday (Varied Shifts depending on Location)
Operating Room Schedule:
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with an allotted hour for lunch unpaid
Clinic Schedule:
7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an allotted hour for lunch unpaid

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Position Summary: Provide uncompromised service to Stark's residential and commercial customers through proper treatment of buildings and structures for termites and other wood destroying organisms (WDO). Termite Service Professionals will also install crawl space moisture barriers and vents. Essential Functions: * Comply with company and label safety procedures * Comply with product label, state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and pricing guidelines * Keep scheduled appointments with customers * Determine prescribed treatment as marked on inspection graph and specification sheet * Prepare site areas for treatment by removing and hauling off debris as prescribed * Apply any of the following wood destroying organism treatments and techniques to customer buildings and structures: * Termite bait station (Sentricon) installation with auger and digging tools * Trenching and applying liquid treatment to exterior or crawl space perimeters of structures * Drilling and applying liquid treatment to void spaces or blocks in the crawl spaces and structures * Spray application of product to affected areas * Scrape off termite shelter tunnels * Install moisture vapor barriers and vent shields in crawl spaces * Determine opportunity for and sell additional services * Provide marketing collateral to customer * Collect service payments from customers * Respond to service call backs as required by the customer * Report damages to manager as per company policy * Operate company vehicle in compliance with Vehicle Responsibility Agreement * Maintain equipment and tools in good working order * Wash and clean vehicle and ensure proper maintenance and repairs * Maintain timesheets within company policy * Attend and complete training and meetings as required * Perform other duties as required by management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Customer Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes active listening, assessing customer needs, and meeting quality standards for services. * Compliance & Safety - Knowledge of relevant equipment, regulation, procedures, and documentation to ensure effective, compliant, and safe treatment and services. * English Language - Ability to write, speak, and ability to read and understand technical product labels and service agreements. * Monitoring - Ability to assess and evaluate current or previous pest activity on the interior and exterior of a structure. * Math - Ability to calculate and perform basic math, determine mix ratios and volumetric output, ability to analyze diagrams. * Critical Thinking - Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify problems and determine best solutions.
