PRN

As a Scrub Tech at Tucson Surgery Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. This Surgical Tech position is PRN days - No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays! No Call! Great opportunity for an experienced Scrub Tech in a busy multi-specialty outpatient surgery center. Working at the Tucson Surgery Center located at 2121 N Craycroft Road, Tucson, AZ 85712

Requirements:

Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program

• OR- 2 years of on-the-job training
• OR- 7 years of experience working in the field
• OR- Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience"

Licenses/Certifications: "Required: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) "

About the Job:

• Assists in the care of the surgical patient applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures

• Arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed

• Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.

Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
