Responsibilities

• Put instruments away, take instruments to the OR, trouble shoot problems when needed (involving instruments in the OR).

• Provides excellent customer service.

• Actively participates in quality and process improvement initiatives.

• Ensures accurate documentation of the sterilization process and actively reports abnormalities to leadership.

• Participates in proper receiving and reprocessing activities related to loaner and consignment sets.

• Under the direction of the department Educator, may serve as preceptor to new staff or OR staff cross training to Sterile Processing.

• Other duties as assigned.

• High School/GED
• CRCST or CSPDT or CST certificate preferred
