Position Overview: As a full-time Certified Surgical Technician at Holston Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in the surgical team by ensuring the operating room is fully prepared for procedures and by providing efficient support during surgeries. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about patient care and surgical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up the operating room, ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready for surgical procedures.

• Assist the surgical team with creating and maintaining a sterile environment.

• Hand necessary instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.

• Help with patient positioning and draping in a sterile manner.

• Maintain instrument counts and uphold aseptic techniques.

• Contribute to patient safety and compliance with infection control protocols.

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).

• Previous experience as a Certified Scrub Technician in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting is preferred.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced surgical environment.

• Dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient care.
