(5) 8-hour shifts, 0645-1515

Call required- weeknights, weekends, and holidays by rotation

Job Description:

At the direction of management and/or nursing personnel,

• assists the hospital staff/department in the provision of high quality, safe patient care.

• Will provide assistance in Surgical Procedures and basic circulating functions under the direction of the Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides basic physical care of patient.

• Demonstrates safe patient transport with stretcher, wheelchairs, and patient beds.

• Performs tasks and procedures as directed according to hospital policy and procedures.

• Demonstrates knowledge of and utilizes principles of aseptic technique.

• Actively participates in unit activities.

• Ensures positive customer relations interactions.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:

• High School Diploma and/or Equivalent

• BCLS by the end of orientation period
