Position#Summary In conjunction with the Directors of Nursing of Surgical Services and Endoscopy, along with the Executive Directors, oversees the efficiency and profitability of surgical cases and procedures for the healthcare system. Provides leadership in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of current and new services/operations/programs for these areas.
Successful communication with all stakeholders and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Shares information in a timely manner and keeps others adequately informed. Effectively communicates status, problems, and incidents with CNO. Primary Position Responsibilities Participates with volume projections and fiscal performance along with annual tactics, and annual goal achievement.
Monitors performance against annual program operations/financial plans. Provides reports to assist with resource management Conducts regular meetings with stakeholders and administration to review all metrics, schedule, block utilization. Identifying barriers to successful implementations.# Initiates, plans, and implements projects as needs arise in collaboration stakeholders.
Measures, interprets, and evaluates actions and results for conformity to program plans or policies, and when necessary, works with staff and team to take corrective action. Completes projects with minimal direction and within allotted time and budget. Perform market research and financial analysis to support business plan development, produce executive level presentations, support strategic decision making Assists in the development and maintenance of policies that define parameters of program operations, and facilitate decisions regarding regulations and accreditation requirements.
Provides physician/providers necessary support by maintaining an ongoing relationship with medical staff to identify their specific needs including equipment and supplies with ongoing value analysis support and collaboration with other departments as needed.# Demonstrates improvement through the PI process of PDCA. # Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Bachelors degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field Preferred: #Master of Business Administration Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: Minimum of 2 years# healthcare reimbursement or healthcare analytics experience 2 years# experience in surgical services program development License, Registry or Certification:
