Summary of Position

The Opportunity:

The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Temple Health is recruiting a board eligible/certified surgeon for a full time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The Division has a busy open and endovascular practice with full access to state-of-the-art technology including hybrid OR suites.

The Division also has an ACGME-approved two-year vascular fellowship. Successful applicants should possess advanced open and endovascular skills in a broad spectrum of vascular diseases involving the thoracic and abdominal aorta, carotid and other aortic branch vessels, extremity PAD, venous system, AV access, and possibly TOS. Applicants are expected to teach vascular fellows, surgical residents, medical and podiatry students as well as advanced practice providers and to conduct basic science or clinical research with close mentoring from the senior members of the Division. Able to successfully communicate with and collaborate across surgical and medical specialties.

Applicants must possess the following: a MD or DO with ACGME-accredited vascular integrated residency or vascular fellowship training; academic credentials that will qualify for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor; and eligibility to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
