Define, develop and manage information technology architectures and application software frameworks to support the department and enterprise's business, clinical and research strategies, and ensure that the technologies objectives are aligned to goals. Architect solutions that integrate functional applications in support of research, operational and clinical areas of the enterprise.
Provide technical and engineering leadership in all areas of application development and management of critical projects that cut across these areas, and lead architecture and design efforts in developing and implementing advanced operational, research and clinical systems. Analyze, design, develop, test and deploy applications for the needs of the department. Follow best practices for writing clear, concise, maintainable and re-usable code.
Research, develop and architect IT and Informatics architectures and frameworks. Understand the requirements and qualities of business IT systems and define the architectures and frameworks to satisfy those requirements.
Manage and interact with stakeholders and business units; define and implement IT solutions and organize and present business plans to satisfy the goals and requirements. Discover, evaluate and prototype new technologies, processes, and applications.
Collaborate with users, project team and other stakeholders to understand application goals, requirements and constraints. Design new web-based and/or database applications or specifies enhancements to existing systems to meet specific clinical, research and administrative needs (includes specifying requirements and enhancements for vendor systems.)
Design and develop application and server software to solve the department's IT requirements. Develop end-user business, clinical and research applications in a variety of programming languages.
Develop and implement server and automation software. Support the development and maintenance of research databases in SQL Server and other relational database environments. Follow best practices for writing clear, concise and maintainable code. Write code in the forms of libraries and/or in SOA so to maximize code re-usability.
Produce functional, technical and training documentation of user requirements, use cases, objects, code and interfaces for assigned projects. Assist with training of users and developers
Investigate and resolve production problems for assigned projects and systems. Monitor system to detect errors and data integrity problems.
Ensure appropriate data access. Provide ongoing training, technical guidance, assistance and support for users, developers and other staff.
Collaborate with other developers, managers and staff from different groups, departments, sites, and vendors to analyze, design, build, test and implement interfaces or integrations between applications and systems. Test, monitor, maintain and upgrade interfaces.
Manage project timelines, requirements analysis, communication with stakeholders, design, development, rollout, daily operations and support for assigned projects and/or products. Provide regular updates and presentations for users, developers / technical staff, and managers.
Bachelor's Degree computer science or computer related fields. More than 10 years
Looking very strong programming skills (full stack developer).
