VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center of Westbury is seeking a full or part time surgeon to join our existing surgical service on Long Island, New York.

We are a Trauma Level 1 Certified Hospital, offering a highly qualified staff and advanced diagnostic and treatment options. Our equipment includes a 128 slice CT, 1.5 Tesla MRI, two GE Logic ultrasounds, a portable ultrasound for ICU, and a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. We have specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, and Oncology.

We are a teaching hospital, which further encourages collaboration as we participant in rounds and case presentations with our intern class.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $300,000. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
