Surety Account Executive

The Rogan Group, Inc. a Risk and Insurance Management Recruiting firm is assisting a national insurance brokerage client in identifying a Surety Account Executive candidate to join their team in their Kansas City Office. Position can be WFH but will require travel within the Greater Kansas City area.

Position Outline:

• Meets with new and existing clients to develop and review information concerning client operations

• Consults with clients concerning operational issues impacting surety credit; offer surety-oriented risk management recommendations/solutions to improve client risk profile

• Develops strategies with customer's input to address surety-related issues/concerns to maximize the available bond program

• Analyzes and presents underwriting information to the surety company with specific recommendations for surety support

• Conducts ongoing management and maintenance of client surety programs through regular meetings with client ownership/senior management and the surety underwriting team

• Performs financial reviews and provides analytical presentations of the information to the applicable underwriting team

• Actively participates in construction and surety related associations; maintains regular interaction with surety company personnel

• Supervises and coordinates Account Manager performance as it relates to account specific activities

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of surety industry related experience preferred

• P&C license or willingness to obtain immediately during the initial course of employment

• College degree preferred

• Proficient in insurance agency management systems AMS 360 a plus

• Ability to travel to occasional meetings or networking events
