Job Description:

Responsible for supervising personnel receiving product, pulling orders, loading trucks for next-day delivery, and processing paperwork relating to product delivery.

Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Supervises the administrative staff including: hiring, scheduling, providing training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.

Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift.

Ensures all orders are loaded in their entirety and in proper stop sequence on the assigned truck and trailer, and completes all necessary paperwork.

Ensures all product received during the shift is stocked properly and that first-in/first-out warehouse procedures are followed for all stock rotation.

Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic through personal example.

Ensures that all associates have a thorough understanding of their individual roles in meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

Coordinates pick planning in conjunction with the Manager, Warehouse.

Utilization of Company's warehouse management system and other technologies available to maximize productivity.

Analyzes the productivity levels of the warehouse operation and recommends appropriate changes.

Handles building security to include locking warehouse and setting alarms after the night shift.

Ensures the safe operation of all material handling.

Complies with Company's health and safety programs.

Required Qualifications

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.

Required Experience: 2 - 4 Years of Warehouse experience or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education: Associates/2-year technical degree in Business management, logistics or related area.

Preferred Experience: 4 - 6 Years of Warehouse experience within foodservice industry.

Supervisory experience.

Preferred Professional Certification(s): OSHA Forklift operator certificate.

VIEW JOBS 10/12/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-10T00:00 <p>The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining the warehouse, and the shipping, receiving and maintenance of material inventories.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>• Oversees warehouse and grounds, keeping them swept and maintained</p> <p>• Oversees all materials shipped, making sure only materials that are listed on purchase order are loaded </p> <p>• Assists materials being delivered, both loading and unloading </p> <p>• Assists installers/sub-contractors and service technicians on job materials, including unloading of material </p> <p>• Stocks materials in designated areas </p> <p>• Keeps warehouse/grounds neat, orderly and free from obstructions in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations </p> <p>• Stores and maintains all service equipment while not in use, such as ladders and brakes </p> <p>• Ensures that trash is dumped in designated areas and kept neat and orderly </p> <p>• Ensures that materials returned are clean, undamaged, logged on return order form and placed in designated areas • Receives vendor shipments by reconciling all paperwork with physical counts </p> <p>• Oversees temporary help and/or other warehouse workers </p> <p>• Arranges inventory properly in preparation for end-of-month physical inventory count </p> <p>• Assists office management during month-end inventory </p> <p>• Utilizes safety materials, such as safety belt, goggles, gloves and ladders, and practices good safety techniques </p> <p>• Operates and maintains forklift </p> <p>• Attends safety meetings as scheduled </p> <p>• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned Required Skills: </p> <p>• Ability to work under pressure </p> <p>• Good organizational skills in office and warehouse </p> <p>• Ability to establish priorities </p> <p>• Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) • Ability to be flexible </p> <p>• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
