We're Hiring for an Operations Supervisor.


Responsibilities:
An entry level leadership role, the Supervisor, Operations is responsible for hiring, staffing, managing, and leading a team performing like functions, whose role it is to execute operational and transactional functions within the sales organization.

The Supervisor, Operations provides coaching, direction and leadership while creating an engaging and rewarding work environment. Motivates the individual team members to meet and exceed personal as well as team targets. Effectively plans daily, weekly and monthly goals for assigned team members, coordinating activities of the team to achieve both divisional and company objectives.

Possessing a thorough knowledge of Ingram Micro systems, processes, products and services, the Supervisor, Operations is responsible for setting and managing objectives and metrics that align with organizational objectives and drives to achieve revenue and profit goals by delivering a superior customer experience. Responsible for prioritizing and allocating resources effectively to ensure outstanding execution of customer needs. Also partners with other divisional leaders to ensure systems, processes, and tools are operating properly and efficiently.

Travel up to 20% (May include international travel)

Requirements:
Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) Experience: Minimum of two years direct management experience (preferably in a related industry) or five years' experience with Ingram Micro in a sales or customer service capacity; OR a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year direct management experience (preferably in a related industry) or two years' experience with Ingram Micro in a sales or customer service capacity.

Skills: operational/transactional experience, negotiations, coaching and developing Associates in high performance culture, transactional management, and attention to detail and follow through. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present in both technical and non-technical terms to large and small audiences. Knowledge of:

Proficient knowledge of Ingram Micro products, services, processes, systems, and value proposition. Ability to: Lead others by setting performance expectations and managing execution, coach and develop the skills and knowledge of others, demonstrate business and financial acumen, provide leadership and direction to other team members in a positive and productive manner, multi-task, respond to rapid change, manage projects, manage detail, manage relationships and resources, and set realistic and achievable goals/objectives and timelines.

Responsibilities include overseeing a team of service technicians/installers, interacting with a diverse commercial customer base, providing excellent customer service, completing on-site client calls and handling add-on business with customers. The Operations Manager is responsible for hiring, training, leading and managing a field service team of Plant Care Technicians. Each Technician will visit client accounts performing plant care services such as watering, cleaning, pruning, fertilizing, pest control and customer relations. Other management duties will include field routing, client evaluations, and account management. This position offers a competitive salary, with benefits, bonus program and a company car. Responsibilities: This includes but is not limited to the following duties. * Manage daily operations with the goal of providing World Class service to Ambius clients. * Offer direction to staff in all aspects of operations including, service and client care. * Responsible for managing basic financial performance of the operations, including revenue growth and expense control. * Daily travel throughout territory is required. The manager consistently visits with clients, assists Plant Specialists, and partner closely with the Sales team on business development. * Required to work a flexible schedule, including occasiaonal early mornings and weekend work when needed. * Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports, as required. * Supervises a group of Plant Specialists. RequiredThe successful candidate must have the following: * At least five years supervisory/management experience. * At least two years route management experience. * At least two years of experience with Microsoft Office applications * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to work independently. * Strong attention to detail and Enjoy hands-on work. * Meet all company Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements. Preferred * At least five years management experience in Horticulture or Greenhouse Management. * Degree in Business, Life Science (Entomology, Biology, Zoology. * Service industry experience. * Experience supervising field employees. * Experience working with budgets and P&Ls. * Experience in the Pest Management industry.
