Responsible to direct, supervise, coordinate all administrative and clinical duties on an assigned shift. Implements, directs and coordinates activities in the facility in an emergency situation until appropriate senior administrative team members arrive.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.
Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses.
Critical thinking skills and rapid decision-making ability.
Excellent communication skills.
Expert knowledge in administering nursing policies.
Understands administrative functions of planning, organizing, directing, controlling & evaluating.
Knowledge of hospital organizational functions, policies and procedures. Certification in clinical field or Nursing Administration.
Basic computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Kind and Length of Experience:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in nursing is required. Management experience is preferred.
Previous experience in a management role.
