Position Summary Responsible for coordinating and supervising inbound and outbound warehouse activities related to receiving, replenishment, fulfillment, shipping and delivery on a daily basis. Responsible for the supervision of warehouse team members (Group Leaders, Central Distribution Techs and Drivers) to achieve established goals.

Responsibilities Essential Functions Ensures accuracy of all receiving, picking and distributing processes. Facilitates the scheduling, and dispatching of daily work assignments, staging space, picking and dock activities to maximize efficient material flow.

Supervisory responsibilities will include interviewing, mentoring, hiring and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing daily work-flow; completing semi-annual performance plans; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Works with management teams on all disciplinary actions related to team members under span of control. Responsible for balancing the resources of warehouse space, equipment and time with customer demand.

Along with the Manager of Logistics, active participation in planning, to include pick location and storage zone profiling, yard management and identification of equipment and labor requirements in advance of their actual need.

Active involvement in the on-going monitoring and change process related to fill-rates, back-orders, receiving activity, on-time delivery, picking accuracy, and other warehouse performance measurements. Facilitate the dispatch of all delivery routes on a timely basis.

Ensures team members abide by all regulatory compliance as it relates to the operation of medical-surgical and pharmaceutical product distribution, equipment use safety and overall security of the consolidated service center.

Facilitates the return goods, product recall, pickup and exchange processes. Expedites and assists with "STAT" or "EMERGENCY" requests.

Functions as one of the primary resources for all customer complaints.

Monitors team member time & attendance activities as required. Other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.

Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions Comprehensive knowledge-base of distribution and transactional operations within healthcare materials management.

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a diverse audience ranging from management to team members, with the capacity to effect change. Leadership skills to include analytical, conflict resolution, and technical expertise.

Extensive knowledge of current trends in warehouse management, technology and logistics, as well as all applicable operating regulations, such as FDA, FDH, DEA, DOT, and OSHA.

Successfully complete equipment training certification related to fork-lift, pallet-jack and other required industrial equipment utilized within the consolidated service center. Ability to successfully pass all drug-test screenings on transfer to the consolidated service center and on a random basis. Qualifications Education/Training Associate's degree in arts and science or business; or four years applicable work experience in materials management, warehousing, or hospital-based central supply required.

Computer skills required include ability to utilize various software programs related to materials and warehouse management, time-keeping, and Microsoft Office suite of applications on a daily basis.

Experience If associate's degree - total of four (4) years' experience; or If high school graduate - total of eight (8) years' experience in a warehousing environment with 2 years supervisory experience.
