Has direct authority for daily operations of the unit and reports to the Manager/Director of the ASC. This includes responsibilities for processes and activities such as staff development, performance management and evaluations.
Ensures staff coverage for facilitation of the daily unit schedule. This incumbent leads, manages and evaluates aspects of patient care/outcomes, staff resources, productivity, improvement projects and interdisciplinary collaboration for patient care. Will work variable shifts, as needed to complete responsibilities and meet the needs of the patient care unit.
This position will assist in identification of goals and has shared responsibility with the leaders for process improvements on the unit. Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science/Arts in Nursing preferred or progress toward this degree or CNOR Certification.
Three to four years clinical and Surgical Services experience required. Supervisory/leadership experience preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of MN. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Expressed desire/passion to focus on nursing, leadership and management Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science/Arts in Nursing preferred, or progress towards this degree, or CNOR Certification. Three to four years clinical and surgical experience required.

Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center team with locations in Maple Grove, St. Louis Park, and Burnsville.We are looking for a supervisor to support our growing services and infrastructure in our Surgery Center.
The position is posted for Maple Grove with requirement to travel to the other Park Nicollet Same Day Surgery Centers as needed.We have a fast paced multi-specialty Surgical Center, servicing Endoscopy and 9 different Surgical Specialties. RN Supervisor- Pre/Post/PACU and PPAPre/Post/PACU experience preferred, ER/ICU or other Procedural department experience considered
Leadership experience preferred with a proficiency in practice and staff oversight (all Pre/Post RN's and NA positions).Coordinate daily operations, staffing, and preparations for surgical needs.Ability to work collaboratively among the surgical services team to join initiatives and alignment to perform as a Highly Reliable Department.
