We are looking for a Suppression Service Technician to join our team!

Hourly pay range: $22-36/hour depending on license, certifications and applicable skills and experience.

Work shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

As a Suppression Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of the restaurant hood systems, vehicle suppression systems, and industrial dry chemical systems.

In this role you will:

  • Repair, install, and service pre-engineered fire suppression systems

  • Service and inspection of all types of fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems to customers

  • Diagnose and determine the cause of system problems and note deficiencies

  • Keep customers current on code compliance and manufacturers requirements

  • Ensure work is conducted in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 17, 17A, and 96

  • Provide customer support in creating quotes, answering questions, laying out fire equipment needs and follow-up all jobs to assure customer satisfaction

  • Ensure that all internal and external customers and co-workers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly environment

  • Twenty Five percent (25%) of time may be spent performing duties of the Fire Extinguisher Technician

Requirements:

  • 2+ years suppression installation, inspection, and/or service experience preferred

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • E4 Wet/dry Chemical Fire Extinguishing Systems, required 90 days from hire

  • ICC (FK), required 90 days from hire

  • Knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions such as Windows, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Apple IOS, and Android

  • Valid state-issued drivers license with an acceptable driving record

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted

  • Frequently lift and carry toolboxes, tools, equipment, parts, cabling, and/or wiring

  • Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds
