As a Supported Living Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to impact people with disabilities by helping them choose goals and designing plans for their success. As a Coordinator, you will practice leadership and collaborate with guardians, case managers, and other service providers to advocate for people on your caseload. In doing so, you have an opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of the people we serve.
Supported Living Coordinators learn about the hopes and dreams of the people on their caseload and then design service plans to make those goals a reality.
They collaborate with various team members (people served, guardians, case managers, etc.) to write plans and then work with house supervisors and direct care staff to ensure plans are implemented effectively. Coordinators coach supervisors on service provision, staff issues, and other organizational challenges that arise. They also act as administrators to ensure compliance standards are met (e.g. service documentation, billing, etc.).
Pay & Benefits: The starting pay for this position is between $30,636 and $36,056/year. Coordinators receive 3.5 weeks of PTO (accrued annually), 8 paid holidays, and offers of health insurance, dental insurance, flex spending account, and 401k (matched up to 3%).
Preference of a BA/ BS from an accredited college or university and/or a combination of education and experience working with people with disabilities which totals five years.
Two years of prior supervisory experience required. Experience in service provision is essential.
