We do that in a number of ways from providing 24-hour support within their own homes, to providing shorter, more focused support to assist with individual tasks or care needs, which are often determined in conjunction with Social Services.

What we can offer you:

  • Flexible shift patterns which can be discussed at interview

  • 60.00 per shift for working a sleeping in shift

  • Generous annual leave entitlement (20 days plus Bank Holidays rising to 25 days)

  • Full paid training and support to achieve QCF qualification

  • The advertised rate of pay will be effective from 1st April 2022 but this may be paid retrospectively as Board approval is still pending. This means that the rate of pay will be backdated if it is not paid immediately in April salary payments

What we expect from you:

  • A commitment to enabling people to live fulfilled and independent lives both within their homes and the wider community.

  • A flexible approach to work and the willingness and ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and also sleep in and wake in shifts

  • A full clean valid UK driving licence and a car with business insurance, as you will be required to use your car for work purposes.

  • Have a commitment to work towards a QCF in Health and Social Care

We ensure people maintain their wellbeing and play an active role in their local communities. We are a cooperative where we encourage staff and people we support to engage together, we believe there is strength in diversity, in the services we offer, the people we support and the staff we employ.</p><p>Within the service some of these bungalows will support individuals that can challenge the support we provide, so experience of managing challenging behaviour is essential. The successful candidate must have experience of working with multiple external agencies and some knowledge of the special behaviour teams in the local area.</p><p>As a Service Manager, you will have responsibility for managing the staff team and the service. This includes planning rotas, dealing with expense claims, management of staff and deputing in the Area Manager's absence.
