Support Teacher

If you love working with children but are not quite ready for the responsibility of being a full-time classroom teacher, come join our team as a support teacher today! This position will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the daily life of a teacher and help you decide which age group might just capture your heart!

As a support teacher, you will have the opportunity to spend time in many different classrooms. You will see how different teachers run their classrooms and could spend time rocking babies or creating masterpieces with kindergarteners.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.

• Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children

• Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred

• Must meet required state background check

• Must be able to work on iPad to enter children's daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents. Up to par with oral and written skills

• Patience, attentive, and understanding for young children and their developmental needs

• Sense of urgency and flexibility

• Positive and caring attitude

• Coachable (receptive to feedback)

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
