SUMMER WORK IT Summer Staff
Pay Rate: $9.50
June 3 - Mid August ONLY
Monday through Friday (Excluding holidays)
Start times between 6:30/7:30 am and end times between 2:30/3:30pm determined by assignment.

Summer IT Department Staff provides assistance to the Infrastructure Department within IT203. Assignments can be with User Support, Network, Telecommunication, and Assets. Duties will revolve around summer technical support and projects of the Department. Duties include computer/technology receiving, prep, cleaning, movement, and setup.
Summer IT Staff must be flexible and adaptable, moving from job to job at a moment's notice. The candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, dependability, willingness and ability to take direction from Project Leaders. Prior IT and computer experience is desired. Candidate will not be afraid to get their hands dirty!
Unboxing of new computers
Cleaning of current computers
Asset Tagging of computers and IT equipment
Imaging and reimaging of computers
Breakdown/assembling of computer carts
Reboxing and mild transportation of computers by hand carts
Organization of computers and computer peripherals
Cleaning and maintenance of District AV equipment (Projectors and Doc Cams)
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling;; significant stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and in a generally hazard free environment. Close vision required, ability to communicate and receive communication required. Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
