Application Managed Services is a team dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of Cerner Millennium applications through 24x7x365 proactive monitoring, management and quick problem resolution. The Application Managed Services team stands ready to provide direct and continuous support for the day-to-day operational management of Cerner applications.
As part of the Support Services Owner Development Program (SSODP), the Support Services Analyst will be responsible for successfully completing the onboarding activities for a Support Services Owner. Upon completion of the SSODP, the Support Services Owner is responsible for the business and support process for designated Cerner clients. Responsibilities include risk assessment, appropriate executive relationship management, and status review of assigned accounts. The Support Services Owner also provides support around production event planning, client transitions, and the change control process. The Support Services Owner is the primary contact for all client-based activities. The program targets a 6 week timeline which includes 3 weeks in classroom training in conjunction with 6 weeks working directly with a client or behind the scenes with a client(s). During the time working with client's, the work is considered a probational period prior to graduation from the program. Graduation is assessed through learning session participation and completion, illustration of key learning points, and individual readiness. Upon graduation and subsequent evaluation, associates will transition into the Support Services Owner role.

Cerner Millennium consulting and/or support experience
Participation in most phases of a single domain, multi-clinical domain and integrated system implementation
Experience managing multiple small and moderate-sized teams of associates with disparate roles
A minimum 2 years of Cerner experience and 18 months in current role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (both individual and team projects)
Ability to solve problems with tenacity
Ability to assess unexpected situations and make guiding decisions
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to travel 10-20%
Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area
