Primary Purpose:
Provide clerical support for all departments within the Support Services Area of Burnet CISD. Be on-site at the BCISD Warehouse 4 hours per day to receive District deliveries and manage warehouse inventory. Verify, check-in, and organize District deliveries. Upon receipt, work with Business Office to process the delivery and prepare for payment of invoices.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent
College Hours Preferred
Clear and valid Texas driver's license preferred
Must be 18 years of age
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to read and understand documents including policies and procedures manuals
Ability to receive and give written and verbal instructions
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to create and maintain excel spreadsheets and other computer tasks as needed
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and move packages throughout the warehouse
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Support Services Clerical
Provide clerical support for Business Office, Technology, Transportation, Food Service, Facilities and Operations, and PEIMS.
Support could include purchasing procedures, time keeping, credit card process management, handling cash receipts, records retention, insurance claims, scheduling, and other tasks.
Receiving and Distribution
Verify accuracy of shipments and record any discrepancies or damage.
Load and unload delivery trucks as needed. Unpack items and inspect shipments for damage and defects.
Reconcile delivered goods with Packing Slip and Purchase Order Detail
Receive shipments in Business System
Inventory
Assist in pulling and fulfilling Warehouse Requests/Orders
Conduct physical inventory of warehoused equipment, tools, and supplies and verify against inventory control totals. Maintain inventory records.
Requisition additional supplies from purchasing department as directed.
Safety
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and carrying. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles according to prescribed safety procedures.
Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Other
Assist in fulfilling District wide ICE Funds initiative, including but not limited to effectively communicating with requestor, confirming all orders are appropriate, ordering goods from vendor, and recording orders.
