The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Disability Employment and Transitions Division.
This position provides specialized technical support for the Social Security Administration (SSA) Disability program for Disability Determination Services (DDS). The primary responsibility is to coordinate scheduling of Consultative Examination (CE) appointments and specialized testing for disability applicants. Responsibilities include properly receipting medical records and invoices in paper and electronic correspondence into an electronic claims processing system; evaluating medical record and fee scheduling CE-related charges; and providing administrative assistance to Support Operations.

Meet minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of job-related work experience such as appointment scheduling, medical records, or related areas.
Experience working with electronic records and medical terminology preferred.

Additional Information
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.50 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.
This position is open until filled with frequent screening of applicants. The first screening of candidates will take place on April 19, 2024.
