Position Overview:

The Operations Clerk is responsible for, but not limited to, the accurate and timely processing of all clerical work assignments that support, expedite, complete, and enable the fulfillment of operational objectives for all shipping and receiving departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works in a safe manner at all times being aware of surroundings

  • Distributes, records, and properly stores Voice equipment to and from selection personnel in a timely and accurate manner along with PPE from requesting associates

  • Breaks down and prepares all work, which involves the receiving, verification, organization, and delivery of customer selection sheets to selectors

  • Communicates with all internal and external personnel in a professional and effective manner, namely Procurement, Workflow, Operations and Transportation Management, and any OTR (over the road) truck drivers and/or their company representatives

  • Demonstrates proficiency in the WIMS (warehouse management system) being able to migrate and use all receiving and shipping screens such as scheduling, printing manifests, quantity verification, and billing (POCO), completing these tasks with a sense of urgency

  • Prints/organizes/sorts all POs (purchase orders) based on inbound delivery schedules

  • Verifies the accurate completion of all receiving manifests against all signed BOL (bill of laden) and communicates all discrepancies to management in a timely manner

  • Completes loads in the system and initiates the printing of the driver gate pass

  • Accurately files all hard copy receiving documents appropriately and prepares all completed documents for shipping to the expense accounting department

  • Verifies any orders (shipping or receiving) that are not up to date and completed in the system and communicates that information to the Work Flow Coordinator

  • Produces/distributes security trailer seals for outbound loads to loading personnel

  • Prints all required paperwork for each load closure in a timely/accurate manner

  • Delivers the completed billing, load manifests, and all accompanying paperwork timely to the Transportation department with the intent of meeting driver book out times

  • Oversees the shorts process that occurs with routine shipping and ensures that short labels are properly created, distributed, and accounted for, for each load

  • Alerts management to items that may contribute to any service disruption, namely, late inbound loads, printer failures, incomplete PO documentation, PO discrepancies, high priority loads not being addressed, disruptive drivers, security issues, safety concerns, etc

Maintains all established productivity standards for the position, performs value-added work at all times, and proactively seeks direction from one in charge during slow times.

Responsibilities: Respond to customers experiencing technical issues via phone and e-mail in a timely, courteous and professional manner within agreed SLAs. * Research, diagnose, reproduce, and log reported defects, working with engineering and other support team members to provide time-sensitive resolutions. * Understand, document, and explain application functionality to customers. * Advocate on the customer's behalf, guide support tickets through escalation process and take ownership of escalated issues and work with key stakeholder until resolution. * Document technical resolutions for publishing in the Support knowledge base/FAQ * Assist Flexera customers in setting up and implementing their solutions * Train Flexera customers in how to configure and implement Flexera solutions * Contribute to the Knowledge Base and use the existing KBs towards case resolution. * Help identify and track application bugs and enhancement requests * Identify and suggest process improvements * Provide assistance to other team members Required skills: * Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, including both desktop and server * Experience with WSUS, SCCM, or software deployment and repackaging in an enterprise environment. * Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies & Certificates/SSL * Experience and comfortable with Linux and command-line environments * Basic Mac knowledge * Basic programming and scripting knowledge e.g. PowerShell. * Fluent in verbal and written English * Soft Skills to effectively communicate with customers and ability to handle escalations in a time-sensitive environment. * Ability to replicate customer's issues in-house. * Understanding or experience of network-based software. Nice to have: * General security knowledge or software vulnerability knowledge would be an advantage. * Knowledge of Apache, IIS, LDAP, MySQL, MS SQL and query languages.
