Support Removal Technician

Job Description:

Divergent Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Support Removal Technician to join our additive manufacturing team. The Support Removal Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our additively manufactured aluminum components. This position offers significant growth potential.

Shift Availability:

• 1st Shift 6am

• 2:30pm

• 2nd Shift 2:30pm

• 11pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform support removal operations on additively manufactured aluminum components using hammers, chisels, pencil grinders, and sanders.

• Ensure completed parts are detailed and entirely free of support material.

• Track and perform routine maintenance on equipment used daily in additive manufacturing production.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and always ensure proper use of PPE.

• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve support removal processes and overall production quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as hammers, chisels, pencil grinders, and sanders.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
