Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

Apply advanced business process knowledge as a key member of the Team. Takes leadership role in workload and workflow issues.

Process and advise on all types of transactions. Screen, classify, and analyze risks for new business and changes. Obtain necessary information from agents/ insureds in a timely manner.

Order, review, and process information obtained from outside reports. Provide manual quotes for agents. Make underwriting decisions within delegated underwriter authority level.

Recognize and troubleshoot system discrepancies and report to discrepancy representative. Meet all productivity and quality office standards as applicable to work performed. Perform QA as necessary.

Mentor and/or train other team members. Provide guidance, advice and assistance to trainees and work processors. May act as a resource or participate in special projects or focus groups.

In a back-up capacity represent Manager or perform key responsibilities as delegated. Perform other related duties as required.

Job Summary

Provide guidance and support in regard to processing type functions with minimal supervision. Handle routine, as well as, more complex processing type transactions or projects. Assist Team Manager and team by taking a leadership role in processing and workflow issues to enhance the level of service provided to internal and external customers.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge

Strong Business/Technical Knowledge. Basic Underwriting Knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required.
