Responsibilities include but not limited to heavy customer interaction (internal and external) which often includes Senior level staff. Supports overall PlanConnexion business operations, administration as well as training and trouble-shooting support. The support consultant is also responsible for quality assurance for the various release work as well as identifying improved processes and enhancements based on customer feedback.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operations Serves as a subject matter expert of application, system, and/or process. Responsible for training, access, issue resolution, documentation, and day to day operational activities. Develops relationships with the Team, project team members and other internal and external customers to support effective collaboration.

Workgroup support Planning, communications and meeting coordination including meeting materials, participation, and documenting summaries and deliverables, adhering to Commercial Markets governance process.

Manages Activities Supports team by accomplishing tasks and managing assignments by prioritizing multiple new and ongoing initiatives. Clearly and periodically reports status of tasks and.

Participates in/leads project team discussions to reach conclusions and determine direction of work. Takes initiative to identify and solve problems as capabilities permit.

Customer Focus Develops relationships with both internal and external customers to support effective collaboration. Takes a proactive approach researching issues, gathering facts, and understand the needs of the team and customers.

Documents and communicates recommendations, status, or issue resolution. Increases knowledge industry, business, and organization and forms relationships with people from all parts of the organization to gain understanding about different areas that may impact PlanConnexion.

Development Projects Helps define requirements, participates in development discussions, and provides primary support for User Acceptance testing. Identifies issues and defects, and potential future enhancements.

Process Improvement Identifies, documents, and improvements to existing or new processes to improve and optimize operational efficiency.

Business case development supports planning of projects by helping to define the problem/issue, giving input to the solution design, developing timelines, and ensuring stakeholder input is considered in the planning.


Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business / related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of data analysis and business operations experience

Preferred Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to execute on work plans to manage smaller projects and portions of larger projects

  • Experience in process improvement methodologies

  • Ability to support information gathering activities, framing problems and writing understandable results for multiple audiences

The incumbent must possess sound knowledge of organization's products and assist field technicians who are troubleshooting problems or repairing products. Responsibilities * Interact with customers to help troubleshoot and resolve complex technical product problems or issues * Diagnose and resolve complex customer questions or problems over the telephone/Internet in the areas of system configurations/setup, product functionality, and bugs/enhancements * Track and document inbound support requests and ensure proper notation of customer problems or issues * Document problems and solutions to train lower-level support on how to properly address customer or product problems * Communicate with product development department to improve on current design or to identify possible problems with design * Stay abreast of current technology in products, design changes, and new products offered * May travel to client site in order to resolve extremely complex customer and product issues Qualifications Academic and professional qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science/IT or relevant work experience Experience: * Typically requires 2 - 4 years of experience with healthcare products in a support, development or consultancy environment, of which at least 1 year of experience is in developing or supporting the assigned products and a demonstrated competence in functional or technical components of the assigned products * Basic query writing in SQL Server Management Studio preferred * Knowledge on a customer support software tool preferred * Experience with working on Decision Support software preferred Travel requirements: * Minimal travel may be required for client support and training Working arrangements: * This position can be remote or based at the EPSi headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri.
