Support Analysts perform the daily tasks necessary to support Costco's development, test, quality assurance, and/or production environments. This includes issue resolution and root cause analysis, managing access, and fulfilling requests.

They are in regular communication with business and IT personnel. The Support Analyst may also develop, manage, update, document, analyze, and monitor technology systems including: software and hardware, networking, configuration management, data, quality assurance, third-party vendor application support, and general user support.

The IT Fulfillment Center (ITFC) Support Analyst will configure and deploy IT equipment including, but not limited to PCs, Laptops, Software, and Network Equipment. The Analyst is also expected to adhere to developed procedures for asset management, software license management, change management, technology refresh, safety, security, and other deployment and lab functions.

The analyst is also expected to evaluate problems, determine root causes, and best solutions to problems in order to ensure maximum productivity and minimum downtime. This is an on premises 5 days a week position.

ROLE

● Identifies and resolves problems, often anticipating issues before they occur or before they grow; develops and evaluates options and implements solutions.

● Manages incidents and tasks by identifying, tracking, and driving support, deployment, or system issues to a timely resolution.

● Documents, educates, adheres to, supports, and improves current processes.

● Supports the lifecycle of systems and the related components from development to retirement.

● Installs, facilitates, and/or performs quality assurance testing on supported systems.

● Develops, utilizes, and maintains tools and scripts to automate deployments, create reporting, and meet support needs.

● Provides direction and/or guidance to customers, teams, and other support members regarding daily activities, project initiatives, deployment activities, and support issues.

● Conducts in-depth analysis to increase system performance, quality, and/or efficiency.

● Creates and maintains effective relationships with the business and information technology teams.

● Identifies opportunities for streamlining, increasing effectiveness through continuous process improvement.

● Creates and follows Costco's IT policies, processes, procedures, and/or regulatory standards.

● Installs hardware including project support, tech refreshes, New Warehouse, IMAC, as well as break fix equipment.

● Requests coordination including task assignments, stockroom inventory, and coordination with IS Purchasing.

● Designs and recommends changes for increasing efficiency and effectiveness of the ITFC process.

● Develops and maintains partnerships with multiple IS Departments to ensure quality service and support.

● Meets or exceeds performance metrics related to productivity and quality.

● Pulls loose cardboard and slip-sheets from floor. Clears the sales floor of debris and sweeps.

Removes empty pallets from the sales floor. Operates cardboard baler and trash compactor. Rewraps loose products using a shrink-wrap machine.

● Receives, stocks, picks, and configures the Shipping of IT assets.

● Uses MECM and Workspace one for configuration of clients.

● Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.

● Adheres to security management practices as well as promoting established security standards.

● Understands and adheres to Costco's Mission Statement and Code of Ethics.

● Follows merchandising standards and practices. Aligns product, collects and returns stray items, stocks to maintain high product levels.

● Communicates with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plans and priorities.

● Writes list of products to be brought from steel, by forklift driver, for stocking. ·

● Uses box knives to cut boxes for display/accessibility of product and to cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallets. Wraps, ties, and tags pallets to be returned to steel.

● Stocks opened cases on shelves.

● Moves and positions pallets of merchandise using Forklift, and Manual/Electric Pallet Jacks.

● Stacks product from partial pallets onto full pallets.

● Observes and ensures correct product signage.

● Checks code dates to ensure proper rotation.

● Uses manual pallet jack, step stool, wheeled bin, trash compactor, cardboard baler, sticker marking gun, shrink wrap machine, wrench, screwdriver, pliers, and box knife.

● Cleans warehouse floors, offices, break room, and restrooms by operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery, and by sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping. Follows departmental procedures and standards for cleanliness and performance of duties.

● Empties trash from designated areas throughout the warehouse. Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler.

● Delivers and pickups equipment to and from Issaquah, using company vehicles.

● Performs cycle counts of IT inventory, on a periodic basis.

● Works to refurbished IT equipment for redeployment, including cleaning and reconfiguration.

● Performs asset disposals, recording assets and sending to IT asset recyclers.

REQUIRED

● Understanding of client hardware including Desktops, Laptops, Thin Clients, Network Equipment, and other related peripherals (e.g. Printers, scanners).

● Completion or willingness to obtain required or relevant technical certifications.

● ServiceNow (CostcoCarts) experience, or other ITSM platform experience.

● Proven success participating in cross-departmental projects with several project team members.

● Excellent customer service skills and superior telephone etiquette.

● Strong communication skills and able to work effectively with all levels of the business and IS.

● Proven documentation skills and experience conducting technical training classes for others.

● Demonstrated strong organizational qualities in order to meet tight deadlines as well as coordinate, prioritize, and communicate project status to required parties.

● Team player - and works cooperatively with others, sharing ideas, and collaborating.

● Detail oriented and possesses strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze a situation for potential problems.

● Ability to travel, occasionally work evenings, weekends and holidays, carry an on-call phone, and able to provide 24 X 7 on-call support coverage.

● Self-motivated and able to work independently, with little supervision.

● For Forklift/EPJ Driver · Hazard Communication and JHA (initial assignment), Costco Hazardous Materials DOT Training Course: Part 1 (within 30 days and then every year), Costco Hazardous Materials DOT Training Course: Part 2 (within 30 days and then every three years), Hazmat Universal Waste Training- Short Version (within 30 days and then every year), Option STOP Training (within 30 days), Electric Pallet Jack Certification (before operating EPJ), Forklift Driver Certification (before operating forklift).

Recommended

● Associates degree in computer related field and/or Comptia A+ Certification.

● Familiarity with Costco's core business environment related to Merchandising and Warehouse Operations.

● Previous IT deployment/configuration experience.

● Previous Helpdesk/service desk experience.

● MECM and WorkspaceOne experience.

● Understands IT asset lifecycle, and depreciation of assets.

Pay Range: $38.46 - $48.08
