Responsibilities

The Support Analyst will work as part of an IT application support team. Primary responsibilities include working on solving production impacting issues that are critical to daily processing for the firm as well as driving for root cause analysis. Other responsibilities may include analysis of business use cases, designing, building, and maintaining customized business applications, enterprise integration and workflow management solutions, and composition of knowledge articles. The support analyst will work closely with other team members in a cross functional Agile team.

  • Provides escalated production application support and communication to end users and others members of the IT team to support daily processing for the firm

  • Drive for root cause analysis with the goal of reducing overall support volume and provide documentation for cross-training throughout the team

  • Ability to review, analyze and evaluate business use cases, current business processes and develop scalable solutions utilizing workflow and integration patterns

Qualifications

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and correspond with internal clients and business teams

  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn new skills rapidly

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible with changing priorities and requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with limited supervision

  • Familiarity with Agile software development and working in a cross-functional team

  • Working knowledge of basic financial instruments and markets preferred. Previous professional experience in financial services sector is a plus

Team member will be responsible for key risk routines in the Consumer Banking Technology, Information and Data Oversight (TIDO) team. There are 3 major responsibilities including: Developing and maintaining comprehensive monthly risk reporting for partner reviews. This includes sourcing data from a variety of data points, researching to find appropriate data, understanding information to help draw risk conclusions, analyzing data and metric accuracy and helping identify trends. Hosting meetings with partner teams across Consumer Banking. Documenting notes from these meetings and coordinate activities across the team. Manage and track policy reviews. Develop and maintain Share Point forms and site for governance routines. * Source data for risk routines including ERIA, Risk Appetite. Source data from a variety of sources and develop comprehensive risk reporting. Develop and/or maintain reporting data by coding and/or executing tableau routines and or developing logical expressions in excel. Develop comprehensive L2 Operational risk (Technology, Information Security, Information and Data) presentations including risk analysis with graphs and tables. Analyze and obtain data sources as well as understanding data to look for anomalies and errors for correction. * Convert risk assessment data to actionable information. For example, provide insights to technology availability through application impact time and events. * Recommend metrics to gauge TIDO risks. Analyze data to provide insights for risk triggers. Obtain logical and plausible rationale for out of boundary conditions. Credibly challenge peers, business partners and enterprise COE when presented with implausible results. * Develop communications and presentation decks for various forums including TIDO Forum and any committee level data. Host monthly risk reporting forums. Maintain agenda, minutes and flow of meeting with all the participants presenting data. Understands data and package information for all levels of risk audience. Identifies key data and presents to large audience. * Develop and maintain Share Point forms and sites for various governance routines such as CB EUCT Council and TIDO Forum. * Manage and track policy reviews. This includes identifying in scope policies, making assignments, tracking TIDO Team Member deliverables including artifact creation and posting in appropriate sites.
