About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement for Supply Technician (Motor Vehicle Operator) in several locations.
TERM Appointment NTE 3 Years:
(1) Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 3 years by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition.
(2) Position may be filled as a TERM appointment NTE 3 years, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. TERM appointments may be extended up to a maximum of six years and has the potential for subsequent noncompetitive conversion to a permanent appointment.
Initial cutoff will be 7 May, 2018. Recruitment will continue through the announcement closing date to fill positions as they become vacant.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience at the GS-05 level is defined as: Receipt and storage of supply items, conducting inventories, maintaining physical security of small arms and ammunition, prepare reports to document supply transactions. All other candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-06. All Other applicant must meet specialized experience at the GS-06 level which is defined as: Experience with a governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the unique requirements to plan and execute a supply program.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

One full year of graduate education meets the requirements for GS-07. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge,skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. (Transcripts must be attached).
This education must have been obtained in an accredited business,secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
Have a combination of experience and education as described above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
