Position requires a pre-employment physical.
Performs duties that include the receipt, storage, issue, and delivery of materials, supplies and equipment.
Documents deliveries and processes Receiving Report both manually and electronic property accountability records according to regulations/policies/directives and standards/circulars.
Inventories stock levels on a monthly cyclical basis; processes monthly reconciliation and discrepancy reports, and makes corrections to discrepancies made.
Maintains a current consolidated (automated) listing of non-expendable and expendable property and ensures that all property responsibilities comply with Department, Reclamation, YAO supply procedures, directives, and regulations.
Sustains equipment accountability and supply transactions for YAO warehouse.
Interacts with local vendors in the acquisition of certain purchase orders during daily pick-ups throughout town.
Occasional travel - Occasional travel for training may be required.

Drivers License/History: Operation of a Government vehicle required; therefore, you must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license. A driving history check is required.

Working Conditions: Incumbent is required to work both inside and outside, in all types of weather conditions normally found in the southwestern desert, including extreme heat.
The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, such as working around moving warehouse equipment, carts, or machines. Incumbent may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, safety shoes, goggles, hearing protection, and gloves.

How You Will Be Evaluated
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
Human Resources (HR) will review resumes and transcript(s) if applicable, to ensure applicants meet the basic qualification requirements. Category rating and selection procedures will be used for evaluating this position.
If you meet the basic qualification requirements, your on-line responses to the vacancy assessment questionnaire will be used to determine the quality and extent of your experience, education, training, etc., for placement in one of the following categories: 1) Best Qualified, 2) Well Qualified and 3) Qualified.
