You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Ordnance Division of the Supply Department of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.

You will manage, coordinate, and control the flow of Class V "W" and Class V "A" ammunition accounts for all units aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
You will be assigned as the Database Administrator and provide data processing support and services for supported units.
You will perform stock status reviews for conventional ammunition and projectiles.
You will analyze and process financial inventory transactions and reports.
You will identify reasons for transaction errors and failures, making corrections as necessary.
You will resolve problems by applying regulations, precedent actions, and other general guidelines.
You will employ appropriate safety precautions, security procedures, and record keeping practices for munitions.
You will act as the technical authority for database administration and monitor the performance of all personnel granted database access to ensure system reliability and integrity is maintained.
You will develop backup procedures for recovery from loss or destruction of data and program files, or physical damage to the system.
You will prepare accurate, complete, and up-to-date records and reports, assuring documentation is signed in a timely manner.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Incumbent must obtain and maintain OIS-R/TAMIS-R Database Administrator training course.
Incumbent may be recalled to duty.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in issuing and receiving controlled items (e.g., ammunition) to end users, and the maintenance and management of a controlled inventory stockpile (e.g., ammunition stockpile).
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
