Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, and techniques to maintain materials and supplies. 2) Operating Microsoft software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, and Excel). 3) Communicating orally and in writing with internal and external customers regarding procurement packages and general inquiries. 4) Reviewing and researching material lists (ML) prepared by inspectors and shop personnel for repair parts for various types of heavy equipment.

Job Description: As a Supply Technician, you will ensure the movement of materiel, supplies, equipment, work-in-process, and related logistics support to Naval Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division. The Supply Technician will induct materiel received into Navy ERP after receiving, validating count and package condition, identifying and segregating multipacks, labeling materiel for warehouse storage and delivery, and document to the government requester specified on the Materiel Movement Document. Additionally, you will: * Collect and process Warehouse Movement Forms (WMFs), confirm documents with the deliverable materiel, make deliveries to the customer and obtain signatures upon delivery. * Conduct materiel research, identify, screen, and catalog in Navy ERP all materiel and equipment to a Unique Material Master (UMM), manufacturers part number, and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and will assist in the request for new UMMs and UMM extensions as necessary to catalog in Navy ERP. * Provide accountability and control of materiel throughout receipt, storage, inventory, issue, and disposal. * Maintain a systematic and orderly locations process to facilitate inventory, receipt processing, and issue to ensure efficient use and maximum utilization of available space consistent with protection of materiel in storage. * Conduct supply screening, material identification, and material sourcing using standard logistics tool applications such as Navy ERP, webFLIS, and Haystack. * Identify material handling discrepancies, complete causative research, and provide recommendations to correct and/or avoid recurrence of discrepancies in accordance with applicable guidelines. * Screen, inspect and create estimate of processing schedule and item, determine hazardous waste requirements, and required processing materiel and equipment, and will be responsible for planning, organizing and control of the flow of materiel in an accountable manner. * Perform physical inventory counting and labeling of material and equipment and provide inventory count sheets to government Inventory specialists. * Determine proper route and delivery schedule based on property and urgency.
