Job Description:

Supply Technician to support The Customs Broader Protection (CBP NAM), Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Performing as a working Leadman as assigned. When working in this capacity, the Employee will report directly to the Site Manager.

Requisitioning general and aviation supplies and parts

Maintaining and operating the parts stockroom, the continuous repair parts inventory, the shipment of parts, equipment, etc., as required, and the effective control of all material under his accountability

Keeping accurate records and audit trails of all material received, shipped or returned for repair while adhering to the approved Supply procedures

Prepare and submit reports as directed.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

May be required to perform other duties as required to support the overall mission.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have six (6) years' experience in military or civilian logistics with a knowledge of inventory control, automated systems, aviation, and general supply systems.

Must have two years' experience in the procurement of general aviation parts.

The incumbent must be able to requisition, record, store, issue and turn in aircraft repair parts and related equipment.

Must be able to type 30 to 40 words per minute and be in good physical condition.

Must be capable of reading and understanding Customs and Contractor Supply procedures.

Must have a driver's license and be capable of obtaining a Government license. May be required to operate a forklift truck.

VIEW JOBS 11/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-08T00:00 Description Bellingham Technical College is establishing a pool ofapplicantsforpart-time temporary hourly persons to perform a variety of maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and support services for media and copy services primarily in the evenings and some weekends. These are part-time, temporary, hourly positions. Hours arenot guaranteed and assignments are based on the needs of the department. Reports to the Director of the Library. Position Duties & Responsibilities Under the general supervision and working closely with the Media/Copy Services Technician III, typical duties include: * Install, distribute, maintain, and track media and photocopy equipment and supplies for instructional and campus use; * Setup, operate, and break down audiovisual equipment; * Provide supportservices to troubleshoot and train faculty and others to use audiovisual, photocopy and lectern equipment; * Maintain equipment and supply inventory for media equipment and copiers; * Report campus safety and other concerns to the appropriate personnel; * Generate monthly copier billings using Excel; * Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent AND two years ofrelevant work experienceOR equivalent education/experience. Specific Position Functions & Physical Work Environment: Able to operate and install audiovisual and classroom technology equipment. Experience staffing media for large events (audio, video, lighting, and digital presentations; setup and strike down). Maintain equipment inventory database. Familiar with and able to troubleshoot copy machines. Order supplies, check daily copier maintenance logs, create and distribute student print cards, and create monthly copier billings. Excellent customer service and training skills working with various individuals and groups; strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Access (database entry). Video editing experience preferred. Hand, arm, dexterity-ability to grasp, push, pull and reach overhead; ability to climb a ladder, ability to stoop, bend at the waist, and kneel; ability to sit/stand for long periods of time at a desk/computer workstation, using repetitive arm, hand and finger movements. The ability to push carts as needed.Ability to work in a semi-open office setting with frequent in-person interactions and numerous interruptions, handle multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands. Must be able to work independently. May lift up to 50 pounds. Supplemental Information Compensation: $15.71 per hour. No additional benefits.
