Summary:

Goldbelt Frontier, LLC is looking for a highly skilled Supply Systems Analyst to provide a wide variety of supply systems analysis functions including implementation of automated medical logistics systems below the wholesale level. Duties involve implementation of various segments of automated supply management programs that are part of a command wide application, as well as on-going adaptations for other installations command wide; e.g. Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system, Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR), General Fund Enterprise Business Software (GFEBS), and other programs that may be implemented in the future e.g. LogiCole.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system, serving as the systems analyst for both hardware and software. Is the initial point of contact for any issues regarding the system and performs maintenance and troubleshooting as needed, with elevation if required. This is an enterprise-wide logistical system that encompasses the efforts of the Logistics Division and covers ALL DMLSS modules: Inventory Management (IM) Customer Area Inventory Management (CAIM) Equipment Management (EM) Maintenance Management (MA) Facilities Management (FM) Service Contract (SC) Systems Services (SS) DMLSS System Administration (SA) and DMLSS Business Objects (BO). Serves as the single point of contact for all systems and functionally related problems for logistics, resource management, and information management personnel, as well as customers.

  • Identifies training, technical and functional problems, and develops courses of action to meet the needs of the organization. Identifies business process improvements, in regard to system use, and develops courses of action to implement and other procedural changes. Serves as the single point of contact between the organization and the DMLSS technical, functional support net. Conducts organizational/site level initial and sustainment training as needed

  • Support the daily operation of the system, performing daily systems checks, backups, and assistance with the development of management reports, assistance establishing DMLSS Expense Centers, updates, tests and other duties as required or dictated by JMLFDC and/or leadership. Conducts monthly DMLSS supply/equipment reconciliations.

  • Coordinates actions with Chief, Deputy Chief, and/or Accountable Officer, of Supply Chain Management, installation, and higher headquarters level to eliminate problems and improve supply systems effectiveness. Provides systems support to Logistics Division staff. Consults with Logistics Division Branch chiefs in identifying systemic problems areas and provides recommendations to eliminate problems and improve systems effectiveness.

  • Reviews supply management system instructions/developmental plans, proposals, specifications/requirements, and provides pertinent data, technical ramifications and advice to management, as a basis for determination and action. Monitors databases within Logistics to ensure files are correct and systems improved/upgraded in accordance with regulations.

  • Provides guidance on automated supply operations, by developing and issuing functional users manuals, as well as developing and conducting functional training in new or revised automated medical logistics management information systems. Ensures customers have ECAT (or equivalent) connectivity for electronic ordering, troubleshooting and interacting with customer.

  • May need to cover weekend work in support of Logistics DMLSS users who may be required to work the weekend.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • May be required to provide weekend support for DMLSS users.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience in a similar environment

  • Must be able to be approved for a Common Access Card (CAC) T1

  • U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skill in managing multiple projects and stakeholder interests with timeliness, accuracy, and quality.

  • Excellent analytical and qualitative strategic thinking capabilities and collaboration skills, along with good judgement under pressure

The pay range for this position is $67,590.00 - $70,000.00 annually.
