Overview

The Supply Supervisor leads Procurement Operations initiatives and programs supporting Corporate, DCs, Field Management and Stores, including New Stores, Store Remodels, Rollouts, and Special Requests and Projects as assigned. Supervisors a team of three (3) Procurement Associates and supports Director, Procurement Operations and Waste Management. Department lead, leading Procurement Operations Oracle responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Store and Corporate Supply Representative / Customer Service Assisting RVPs, ROMs, Stores, Corporate and DCs with supply requisitions, and creating, coding and issuing Oracle Purchase Orders

  • Pollock Partner with Pollock to keep up and maintain the Oracle portion of the supply catalog; work with IT to keep the EDI process working; assist and support A/P with invoices and Invoice Rejection Report; set-up and support the Annual Holiday Supply Push; Chain-wide supply roll-outs

  • Leading, Coaching and Mentoring Overseeing and managing Procurement Associates workload and priorities, including performance appraisals/reviews; Coach and mentor junior team members in the role of Store Supply Representative and with Special Requests and Projects

  • New Store Support new store openings; including creation of Oracle Purchase Orders and supporting documentation; partner with Logistics to coordinate supply deliveries to consolidators; work with Merchandise Presentation to maintain the New Store Portal information; complete and coordinate financial spreadsheets with Finance; support HR with coordinating printing and office supplies for job fairs

  • Oracle Training and Supporting Point of contact with IT for Oracle issue resolution; Oracle administrator to set-up new buyers; test programs and coordinate with other users to support program updates; Assist Oracle users with issues, processes and errors

  • Special Requests and Projects as assigned, typically sourcing projects related to indirect goods and services

  • Inventory Rollout Support semi-annual all store inventory rollout with printed materials and supplies

  • As required supporting late and after hour emergency inquiries as needed; other responsibilities as tasked

Education : High School Diploma

Experience: MS Excel, Outlook and Word; Oracle preferred Experience in analysis, analytics, Excel spreadsheets and communications; ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and take self-initiative; experience coaching and mentoring less experienced teammates.

They are responsible for ensuring that the FC has what it needs to keep commerce clicking by keeping spare parts, provisions, supplies, and technical items close at hand. They do this by ordering, requesting, preserving and maintain the proper supply levels, as well as keeping inventory and general accounting, of necessary items. Logistics Specialist propels our customers' experience by ensuring we have robust process plans, training and hazmat assurance in our Fulfillment Centers. The Supply Chain Clerk is responsible for hands-on leadership, planning, implementing continuous improvement initiatives with emphasis on lean methodologies and sustainability. The role will leverage leadership and individual contributor skills to advance in a highly collaborative environment. Assist the business to identify, prioritize and implement improvement initiatives on a project basis. DUTIES * Successfully manage client inventory and supplies, resources and deliverables, present regularly to facility management and team members. * Facilitate/lead Kaizen events and train teams on a regular basis to assess current state, perform root cause analysis, collect and analyze data, eliminate waste and develop future state recommendations. * Train local teams and apply wide range of process improvement tools to assist in identifying and eliminating waste and support growth including: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events Planning and Facilitation, Flow Concepts, 5S/Workplace Organization, Hazmat Certification etc. * Maintain an active role as a change agent on internal Continuous Process Improvement initiatives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Proactively seek out improvements in processes. * Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and changes in procedures. * Check and document client inventory and supplies according to established guidelines. * Prepare and submit reports to track daily, weekly and monthly metrics as assigned. * Assist in the daily sanitation of assigned area to insure an efficient, safe and hazard free production environment. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. * Meet or exceed company standards on attendance, punctuality, conduct, safety and security. * Assist other members of the FC team, in any way possible, as determined by FC management and supervisors. * Work overtime as deemed necessary by management. * Good oral and written communication skills. * Good interpersonal interaction and social skills. * Good problem solving skills.
