  • You will performs supply specialist technical support and analysis.

  • You will maintain inventory control records in an automated system for parts needed for combat systems support and maintenance programs.

  • You will evaluate fluctuations in rates of usage and adjusts procurement lead times for approved acquisitions.

  • You will utilize skills in obtaining parts at a cost effective rate when performing procurement actions for materials

  • You will process invoices, processing receipts, or tracking shipments in order to monitor and track requisitions or procurement.

Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience at or equivalent to the NH-01 (GS-04 equivalent) pay band or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to (1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; (2) Plan and organize work; and (3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

VIEW JOBS 12/20/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-20T00:00 This position is controlled by the Service Contract Act (SCA) and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). BAE Systems is seeking a Supply Technician who will utilize the Government supply systems to provide support to include receiving, processing and reporting the status of requisitions, requisition maintenance, managing inventories and commodities, storing material, and issuing material. The selected candidate will also: Prepare and submit to the Government for review and approval emergency requisitions, expedite requisitions, and upgrade priorities in support of Government requirements. Requisitions shall be processed using the Navy Supply System in accordance with instructions provided in the NAVSUP P-485 and the Relational Supply Users Guide. The Contractor shall provide emergency services in accordance with the NAVSUP P-485 and local procedures. Maintain the inventory management of spare and repair parts, depot level repairables, hazardous materials, consumables, plant and minor property, historical items and other items in the custody of the SCSC Supply Officer. Utilize Relational Supply to manage all inventory processing with the exception of plant and minor property, where Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) is used. Provide life cycle management of hazardous materials, from submission of requirements to ordering, storage, issue, turn-in of excess, and process for disposal in accordance with OPNAV Instructions 5100.19(series), 5100.23(series) and SCSC Instruction 4110.2(series). Submit orders to the Government, receive, issue, store, and transfer HAZMAT. Maintain the Government databases for HAZMAT management systems. Maintain the database accurately to reflect all data required for the accurate management of the HAZMAT, as reviewed by the Government HAZMAT coordinator. Identify, maintain, and recommend sources of supply for items requisitioned to include researching and cataloging support. Screen requirements through General Services administration (GSA), Defense Logistics Service Center (DLSC) and Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) to identify assignment of NSN. Maintain a reference library for Government use of catalogs, manuals, Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, and DLSC publications as well as maintaining a Navy logistics publications library for the Government.
